After lunch in Jaco (more fish tacos), we headed back out on to the road. We stopped at the infamous crocodile bridge and saw some crocs and a great egret. On the road, we past a lot of jungle, ocean, more flooding, and the elusive Jurassic Park sign- wouldnt we have heard about it if they had dinosaurs in rural Costa Rica? I guess we missed the exit and ended up in Libera for dinner. We ate a soda and all had casados...

I'm gonna try and get a job here!

We got to Tamarindo in the dark and had no idea where to stay, we looked at two rooms at two different places but didnt quite like them. Finally we ended up at the Best Western because it had a pool and we thought the room would be nice- wow, we were wroooooooong... the room was up a hill and we were sick of looking, so we just took it and it was the SMALLEST room known to mankind, it was pretty hilarious when we stepped in because nobody could move around if we were all standing in there. Haha, well the pool was nice and it had a cool bar/restaurant area. The next day we went to the beach and got sunburnt... we also drove over to Playa Grande, which was much less crowded and just looked like a postcard. The next day we drove out to Playa Negra which was also really nice, and Chris and Em went surfing. The road was unpaved and quite bumpy but it was a fun adventure...

We finally solved the mystery of the Jurassic Park on our way back, and stopped at it. It was kinda ironic how many live animals were on this dinosaur, including bats hanging from its chin, and iguanas in its mouth and on its nose. Here we are running in terror. Apparently, you can drive around and see a bunch of these dinosaurs, which would have been awesome if we had had the time, but it was kinda out in the middle of nowhere, so I wonder how much business they get.

Back at Em's place, my final deed was to CHOP ALL HER HAIR OFF!!! Actually, I just cut off a few deserving inches to her beautiful long locks. It was soooo hard to leave but we had a great time!
